Father was in fuel business
Born in Owen Sound then moved to Wingham and left before
attending high school, after moving several times he returned
to Owen Sound and met his wife of 52 years Sharon Weller
they raised 4 children 1 girl and 3 boys. He worked as a
firefighter for the Owen Sound Fire Dept. and retired 11 years
ago.
He has nothing but happy memories of his time in Wingham.
Bob's uncle Gord was the Chief of police at one time.
Bob remembers the time he and Gary (Tiny) Templeman got
enjoying some grapes in someones back yard and Gord caught them and pick them both up by the scruff of the neck
and told them if he caught them again he would throw them in the clinker and then he turned to Bob and said I won't tell
your dad this time. He remember summer fun in Bob McIntyres back yard and hockey in the winter. He is looking
forward to coming to next years reunion.
