Dave worked Gay Lea Foods in Wingham and Tara then joined Miller
Electric in Port Elgin as an electrician and was a member of the Port Elgin fire department where he became Chief full time. He transferred to
Ontario Fire Marshall's office in Dryden and Pterborough
