After High School, I worked at my Father's car dealership for a year or so and then left to attend Toronto Police College in 1962. I shared an apartment with John Merkley and Wayne Brown and two other guys who all were students at Ryerson.
I graduated in 1963 and worked in the Downtown for 3 months, worked uniform for several years then various plainclothes squads. I resigned in '74 to join CIBC. Over the next 31 years I travelled across Canada, some of the USA and all the Carribean Islands. I worked closely with many major crime law enforcement squads of major police forces across Canada. I resigned in 2005 and now enjoy Golf and Curling and handyman "stuff" around the house.
