When I left high school I became a Registered Nurse and worked in the field for 45 years with a few taken off to have 4 children.
I worked in hospitals in Simcoe,Wingham,Tillsonburg,Ottawa and Toronto.i retired when I was 66--I loved nursing at still miss it at times but one of my daughters is an R.N. and my son is a a Doctor so I am still in the loop through them--I have many interests especially grandchildren but I love painting and crafting plus I help Joe with his Lion commitments. Joe retired from the federal government in around 2003.joe and I live in a retirement community that we love and we have our own home here in Stoufville.Everyone on this blog has contributed wonderful stories of our childhood,I do not remember as many details.i left Wingham when I was 17 and lived there briefly for 6 months while working at the Wingham Hospital as a nurse but met Joe and moved away.i get back to Wingham about once a year to visit Sally and her husband Richard.it is nice to visit Both my parents passed away many years ago.
