The 2017 Class Reunion was held at the Wingham Legion There were seven classmates attending along with their spouses. We received 9 regrets from classmates who would have liked to come but had other committments. Lots of laughs and stories were told and a communal lunch was enjoyed.A surprise visit from "Minnie Pearl" who auctioned off Dicks painting and brought lots of laughs. A discussion re the website costs which was arrears of $100.00 and quickly remedied with donations from Bill, Dick, Sharon, Lawrence along with the proceeds of the auction of Dicks painting which he donated. If you enjoy the website and would like to see it continue your donation to keep it up is always appreciated. It costs us $120.00 a year. Since its inception in the spring of 2014 just before the last Wingham Homecoming it has garnered over 22,665 hits. Obviously there is an interest as people keep coming back to it.In the coming year we will be looking for more stories a I know they are out there and they are worth telling. So, if you have a story, it doesnt have to be long even a short paragraph send it to me. People love to hear them. A special thanks to Malcolm and Carol MacKay for providing the room for this event and to Dick Roorda for contributing the painting of the dam and to all who donated towards the website. The party adjourned around 2.00 P.M. with a resolution to meet again in two years.
