After high school I took the Business program at Ryerson. Stayed with Wayne Brown and Bill Crawford the 1st year and Murray Kerr following years. Joined IBM and got an accounting degree which set my carreer as a financial guru in the Computer Industry.

I married my grade 9 high school sweetheart Betty Dallimore in 1967 and have been blessed with 2 wonderful sons Tyler & Kyle and 5 grandchildren. All live real close and we see them almost every day.

We lived in Toronto, St Catherines, Philadelphia, Chicago and now Mississauga. I retired approx 6 years ago. Betty started her own real estate appraisal business in the mid 1980's and recently turned the business over to one of our sons. She plans to fully retire this fall. We spend a lot of time with the kids, do a lot of yard work, some travel, a little golf and a little volunteer work.

My father Harry and mother Jean owned the Red Front Grocery and lived in Wingham all their lives. My 2 brothers Raymond and Terry; and my favourite sister Fran (Gerrie) also lives and have lived in Wingham all their life. Our very good friends Wayne and Lorna Brown have also lived in Wingham all their lives except when they're at their boat in Wiarton or wintering in Arizona. So over the years there have been many, many trips back to Wingham to be with family and friends.

Thanks to Bob and Sharon for providing this opportunity to reflect back on our grade school days. As I look at the names, pictures, and comments I recall many great memories from this time in my life.If I had Brian Rider's gift of the pen I could write a book about the fun experiences we had during the 50's. Not exactly a Peyton Place or Tom Sawyer, but something in between. However, I don't have his writing skills so we'll have to chat about them at Homecoming.
